Greetings and salutations! Welcome to the trivia section of my web page!

As you can see from the photos, I am married with two young children who keep us very busy. My husband is a family practice physician. Our daughter is in kindergarten and our son is in preschool so their schedules keep us running as well. They also participate in swimming lessons, dance and Tae Kwon Do. We are all involved in church activities, further filling our calendar.

I’m a Kansas native and have lived here all my life except for a short term as an intern for Senator Dole in Washington, D.C. I have been a teacher for about 18 years, teaching all of Language Arts and Social Studies at one time or another. I have also directed plays and musicals, been a cheerleading coach, and a yearbook director. I teach the occasional college course and I am more than halfway finished with my Master’s degree, so our household is exceedingly busy!

This past summer I visited 11 of the 13 climate zones in a whirlwind tour of Hawaii with a total of 17 family members. Miraculously we all emerged unscathed, with all our luggage, and had a fantastic time. See my photo page for more about our adventure!
