About Me

Welcome! Learning and teaching are so important. I have been a student my whole life. Here are some interesting, fun facts about me. Enjoy.

When I grow up...

I have always wanted to be a teacher. I graduated from KSU with my teaching degree and began my career in Salina Public Schools at Grace E. Stewart. I moved to LMS when my girls began school and have taught fifth and sixth grades. I graduated from WSU with a Masters in Education. I love middle school-aged kids. I enjoy their curiosity, honesty, and the challenges they bring to the classroom. This is my dream job, and I get to do this everyday.

I love the mountains. I love to travel and explore new places.

Green is my favorite Color.

My favorite places to eat out are Taco Bell, Carlos O’Kelly’s, Red Lobster, and Chilis.

I love movies, but especially romantic drama and suspense.
